Workshop Description

The workshops give participants the opportunity to explore Engino solar energy toys through a series of learning activities designed and implemented within the research project “Design and development of construction models for teaching renewable energy concepts with emphasis on solar energy.”

The Engino solar energy toys, combined with new instructional material, support the teaching of solar energy concepts, allow participants to build and improve models related to studied phenomena, and simultaneously foster creativity and
inventiveness. Participants will work in groups to solve problems using the knowledge gained from initial activities.

Following the workshops, there will be discussion on the potential integration of the instructional material into other subjects of the curriculum, along with a review of the design principles that influenced the development of the material.

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
