reality! These patent-pending modular components allow complex
three-dimensional frames to be created accurately and effortlessly.
The components are fully compatible with the other parts
of the ENGINO TOY SYSTEM and snap-fit together creating a
vast range of three dimensional connectors.
ADDING WHEELS!
The wood connectors have the same innovative geometry as the
ENGINO parts which means that wheels can very easily be added
to the models.
CREATING 2D FRAMES!
To create a 90 degree elbow joint all you have to do is push
the wooden dowels into the appropriate connector! The pressure
exercised on the dowel is enough to hold it firmly while
also allowing the easy assembly and disassembly of the parts.
BUILDING EVEYWHERE!
More complex shapes can be created with the combination of
various parts such as the “tee connector” and
the”45 degree connector”. In fact all building
directions of the 3D space are accessible, enhancing creativity
and imagination.
CONVERTING 2D TO 3D!
To create 3D models is a simple task! There is a “vertical
connector” which accepts the wooden dowel on one side
and has the ENGINO plug on the other. This part snaps on the “elbow
connector” and a 3D joint is created.
BECOMING HYBRID! The wood connectors accept wooden dowels of dimensions 10x10
mm. This standard DIY size makes ENGINO the first hybrid
toy of the world as it allows materials from other sources
to be added leading to open-ended modeling.
